Salters' City Foyer Project provides accommodation in shared flats for 44 young people, all of whom are committed to learning new and appropriate skills for the workplace. Link cleared the project's debt for the year and sponsored two individuals to go through the project from start to finish. Link enabled ActionAid to sink wells, reconstruct bridges and build roads in two remote villages in Mozambique. In one village 36 wells were sunk providing clean water for over 16,000 people. The building of a new bridge across the Mapassone River resulted in a child's school journey being reduced from 15km to 3km.
