Link established a presence in New York in 2003 arranging wholesale equity options trades between clients, mainly banks and institutions. Strong relationships soon developed with floor brokers who would execute and ‘give up’ (or CMTA) trades that had been pre-negotiated by our brokers.
In 2005, Linkbrokers became members on the International Securities Exchange (ISE) allowing us to execute and allocate trades directly to clients.
In 2005 Linkbrokers established a cash equity trading desk offering execution services in all types of equity strategies and orders.
In 2006 Link’s presence in the US cash equity market was supplemented with the acquisition of an experienced team acting as an intermediary in the ADR Crossbook market.
Linkbrokers has established a reputation in the cash equity market to equal its standing in the wholesale equity derivatives environment.
